The Red Feather Lakes area Sort Yard to open Sept. 5

The Red Feather Lakes area sort yard will open on Saturday Sept. 5.  The sort yard  will be open on Saturdays only and will be open from 9:00-4:00.  The sort yard will close for the season on October 24.

Though all wood, logs and chunk wood, will be accepted only wood meeting the spec. will be payed for.  Payment will be made by the State and not at the time of drop off.   Payment will be upto $15.00/cord.  No stumps.

Green slash, only, may be brought to the sort yard.  There will be a $15.00 fee per pick-up load.  Slash will be handled be a private person and not a function of Larimer County or Peak to Peak Wood.

The sort yard is located north of Chipeta Rd. along the Creedmore Lake Road (Co.Rd. 73C).
